At right: This was the third church building in the history of our parish, and the first building to stand on the site of the current building. It was built in 1845 and was a beautiful medieval style church with the tower being a copy of that found at Magdalene College, Oxford. On the morning of December 7, 1856 the building was destroyed by fire, said to have begun by an overheated stove. The current church building was its replacement.

Our Mission

The mission and purpose of St. Paul’s Church is to be the Body of Christ in this place, known by our corporate worship of God as Episcopalians, and as a community of love and openness, active in the formation, education, and nurture of Christians toward prayer, witness, and service for the doing of God’s work here and in the world.
