Acolytes

Acolytes participate in the worship service by serving as Crucifers (carrying the cross in procession), torch bearers (carrying the candles), and banner bearers.

The Acolyte Program at St. Paul’s is made up of a group of children in Grades 4 through 12 who willingly dedicate their time to our church by taking an active part in the worship service. This group of young people sets a wonderful example for their peers, as well as for the younger children in our congregation.

If you are interested in having your child participate as an acolyte, we welcome you to contact Rev. Hodges, or speak with any of our acolytes who would be happy to tell you about their experiences.
